Godolphin runner Contributer ($3.70) has opened as and maintained status as clear favourite in 2015 Queen Elizabeth Stakes betting markets following an impressive run through the Autumn Carnival so-far ahead of To The World ($4.20) and Criterion ($6) with leading online bookie Ladbrokes.com.au.

Will Contributer continue his exceptional run of form through the 2015 Queen Elizabeth Stakes, or will one of his many talented rivals find the line in the clear?

1st

Adelaide ($7.50)

Irish import Adelaide is yet to appear on track competitively this year but is a proven performer over the distance at the highest level, has been confirmed to be partnered by regular jockey Ryan Moore and offers punters exceptional value for money in 2015 Queen Elizabeth Stakes betting markets for success at a quote of $7.50. Beginning his career under the guidance of Aidan O’Brien, the Galileo entire is yet to finish outside the first three in his eight start career and found exceptional form over the late stages of his most recent preparation; taking out both the Group 1 Secretariat Stakes (2011) and Group 1 Cox Plate (2040m) most notably. While needing some luck from his wide draw, Moore is sure to find an ideal running position for Adelaide, who will be particularly difficult to beat this weekend.

2nd

Criterion ($6)

Classy local Criterion returns to his pet distance of 2000m for the first time this season in the Queen Elizabeth Stakes, will leave from the ideal barrier 4 and is more than a chance of delivering on generous odds as a result. Posting five race wins and a further ten minor place finishes through his 25 career starts, Criterion won both the Group 1 Rosehill Guineas (2000m) and Group 1 Australian Derby (2400m) through the 2014 edition of the Autumn Carnival; securing several commendable results through spring before a trip abroad heralded a commendable third in the Group 1 Hong Kong Cup (2000m) at Sha Tin in December. Having placed third in the Group 1 Canterbury Stakes (1300m) and a close second in the Group 1 George Ryder (1500m) this time, all signs point towards another polished performance in the Queen Elizabeth Stakes from Criterion.

3rd

Red Cadeaux ($41)

There is a slight query over the trip for Red Cadeaux in the 2015 Queen Elizabeth Stakes however the ground is sure to suit the popular veteran and his class is sure to carry him a long way towards success on Saturday. A Group 1 winner having taken out the 2012 edition of the Hong Kong Vase (2400m), Red Cadeaux has finished second in the Melbourne Cup a total of three times in four attempts and is positioned well in barrier 3 this weekend. Having placed fifth in the Group 1 Australian Cup (2000m) first-up, the Cadeaux Genereux gelding is sure to take valuable condition from the run and is more than capable of a top three finish in the 2015 Queen Elizabeth Stakes.
